First the part that is true. RestoManager is a Ghent company that has been building one thing since 2020 and building it well: getting the guest to the table. Reservations with a table plan, Reserve with Google, gift cards through Mollie, review collection, newsletters, a digital menu — all in one app for iPhone and Android. They say themselves they serve more than 500 venues. And, rare in this category: their prices are published on their own site. You do not need a demo to find out what it costs.

We do those reservations too, and on the free plan they cost €0: online booking on your own domain, confirmation emails from your own from-address, capacity per time slot, closed dates, inside or terrace, food or drinks, and a notification to the manager the moment something lands. That is where the difference starts. At RestoManager the product stops at the door: no staff schedule, no time clock, no opening and closing tasks, no supplier orders. Precisely the things that eat your Sunday evening.

Where their product stops: at the door

RestoManager organises who comes to eat. It does not organise who cooks. Their own feature overview (checked 10-09-2026) lists no staff scheduling, no time registration, no task list and no supplier ordering. That is not a shortcoming — it is simply not what they build. But it does mean that alongside that €59 a month you still keep a schedule in Excel, a group chat where shifts get swapped, and a supplier who texts you on Sunday evening.

At SuperHoreca all of that lives in the same screen, on that same free plan: a drag-and-drop weekly schedule, availability and shift swaps, opening and closing tasks that get ticked off, orders that leave as email to your supplier, and a time clock running on a QR tablet or on your staff member’s own phone. And because the reservations sit in that same system, tonight’s team sees on their own schedule how many covers are coming — without anyone retyping a thing.

Belgian, and you notice it in the details: flexi-job and student are their own contract types with their own hourly rate, the student quota is set to 650 hours for 2026, and you enter PC 302 wages per staff member so the labour-cost report is accurate rather than approximate. The government wants to make time registration mandatory in hospitality by 2027. It is not law yet — but the clock that will have to prove it is already in the free plan.

What it costs, and what leaves with every payment

Credit where it is due: their prices are public. Core €59 a month (€708 a year — exactly twelve times €59, so paying yearly buys no discount), Growing €99, Professional €169. Fourteen-day free trial, no setup fee. Add-ons sit on top: Reserve A.I. +€99 a month, Takeout +€19, Website +€29. Prices as published on restomanager.net, checked 10-09-2026.

What is easy to miss when you compare is on that same page: a transaction fee comes off every online payment. €0.99 on Core, €2.99 on Growing, €0.49 on Professional. You read that correctly — the middle plan is the most expensive of the three per payment. For a venue collecting deposits or selling gift cards online, that is an amount that grows every month with how well you are doing.

SuperHoreca charges no transaction fee, for a reason that is also a limitation: we are not in the payment flow between you and your guest at all. Free up to 10 staff, €19 a month for Pro with unlimited staff, €39 for Ultra. Prices excl. VAT.

Where RestoManager beats us

We do not have Reserve with Google. Someone searching "restaurant Ghent" and booking a table straight from the search result lands with them, not with us. For a venue living off passing trade and tourists that is not a detail — it is half the story.

Gift cards through Mollie: we do not have them. A digital menu: no. A takeout module: no. An iPhone app: no — our app is on Google Play, on iOS the schedule runs in the browser or from your home screen. Their table plan goes deeper than ours: we work with capacity per time slot and a table preference as free text, not a graphical floor plan where you drag guests from table to table. And guest reminder emails sit in our Pro plan (€19 a month), not in the free one.

Their integration list is longer than ours too — Mollie, Reserve with Google, Gault&Millau, Social Deal, Dinestar, Yeat, Annoncer, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — with UniTouch, Lightspeed, Gifty and Air.eu announced. If your POS is on that list, that weighs more than anything we write here.

Questions we get a lot

Am I locked into an annual contract with RestoManager?

We do not know, and we are not going to invent it. Their pricing page lists €59 a month and €708 a year — exactly twelve months, so paying yearly buys no discount. On notice periods we found nothing to read on 10-09-2026. Ask them explicitly before you sign. With us it is monthly: you cancel when you want.

What does an online payment cost with you?

Nothing, because we do not process guest payments. That is also the flip side: if you want to take a deposit to cut no-shows, or sell a gift card, RestoManager can do it and we cannot. For a fine-dining address where a no-show is expensive, that is a genuine reason to pick them — do the maths before you decide.

Can I move my RestoManager data across?

You export your guest file as CSV and import it with us. We do not move historical reservations across; they stop being useful after a few months anyway. RestoManager themselves promise a one-to-two-hour migration on the way in, moving your guest list and future reservations — so ask explicitly for your export on the way out, and keep your old account on standby for a month.

Can I run both side by side?

Technically, yes. Reservations with them, schedule and time clock with us. But then you pay twice for reservations, since ours are in the free plan regardless. Run both for a month, see which booking button your guests actually use, and only then switch one off.

RestoManager gives you fourteen days. We do not ask for a card number: make an account, put the reservation widget on your site, and set next week’s schedule right next to it. Up to ten staff that costs €0. Then decide for yourself whether the floor stays with you.
