Who it’s for
Cafés, restaurants, bars, hotels — and any team that works in shifts

SuperHoreca is free up to 10 staff and one venue, and every new venue starts with 30 days of Ultra, no card needed.

First the honest part: 7shifts is a mature product. Its free Comp plan already lets up to 15 employees offer up, trade and claim shifts, there is a mobile app, and the paid plans add time clocking, labor targets based on projected sales, auto-generated schedules and tip management. For a restaurant in Toronto or Texas running a North American POS, it is a sensible pick.

But everything on their site is written for that market. Prices are in Canadian dollars per location, their built-in payroll is for US customers only, and the compliance tools are about US state labor law. Flexi-jobs, Dimona or a Belgian social secretariat are not mentioned anywhere we looked.

Price: CAD per location versus euros per account

7shifts publishes its prices, which is to its credit: Comp is free (one location, 15 employees), Essentials $39.99 CAD, Pro $79.99 CAD and Premium $134.99 CAD — each per month, per location. Tip management is another $49.99 CAD per location unless you are on Premium. Run three venues and everything is multiplied by three.

SuperHoreca bills in euros, excluding VAT: free up to 10 staff, Pro €19 a month, Ultra €39 a month. No currency conversion, no separate tips module.

Where 7shifts is stronger

Calculating and distributing tips, wired into payroll, matters a lot in North America and 7shifts does it thoroughly. Its POS integrations and hourly labor forecasts are also further along. If you rely on those, you give something up by switching — better to say so up front.

Payroll in Belgium

Neither tool is a Belgian payroll engine. SuperHoreca does not file Dimona or calculate wages; we export your worked hours to your payroll provider. 7shifts’ own payroll only works in the US, so your Belgian payroll goes through your social secretariat either way.

Questions we get a lot

Does 7shifts work in Belgium?

You can sign up, but their site is aimed at North America: prices in CAD, payroll in the US only, compliance for US states. Belgian rules such as flexi-jobs or Dimona are not mentioned.

What does 7shifts cost?

Comp is free for one location with up to 15 employees. After that $39.99, $79.99 or $134.99 CAD per month per location, 10% less paid annually. SuperHoreca: €0 up to 10 staff, Pro €19, Ultra €39 per month, excl. VAT.

Does SuperHoreca do tip pooling like 7shifts?

No. If splitting tips is your main job, 7shifts is stronger there.

Does SuperHoreca file Dimona or run payroll?

Is there an app for my staff?

Yes: an Android app, and on iPhone SuperHoreca runs in the browser.
