SuperHoreca is free up to 10 staff and one venue, and every new venue starts with 30 days of Ultra, no card needed.
First the honest part: Shiftbase is a good product, and a transparent one. Prices are on the page, there is a free plan up to 15 employees — more generous than ours — and scheduling, time tracking, leave and payroll prep live in one package, with iOS and Android apps. Open shifts and shift swaps are standard.
Two things to know. One: from Basic up you pay per user beyond the included seats, so your bill grows with every student you hire. Two: Shiftbase is built from the Netherlands. Belgian flexi-jobs and Dimona are not mentioned on their site, and reservations, events or supplier orders are not part of the package.
Per user or a flat price
Shiftbase Basic costs €30 per month for 6 employees, then €4 per extra user. Premium costs €72 for 12, then €5 per user — and the SD Worx export needs Premium. With a team of twenty hospitality staff, many part-time, that adds up.
SuperHoreca does not charge per head: Pro is €19 per month with unlimited staff and up to 3 venues, Ultra €39 per month up to 10 venues, excl. VAT. Where Shiftbase does better: its free plan goes to 15 employees, ours to 10.
Dutch HR suite versus a Belgian floor
Shiftbase is strong at what surrounds the schedule: leave balances, plus-minus hours, surcharges, payroll prep with Nmbrs, AFAS and Exact Online — Dutch payroll packages. For Belgian social secretariats their site only mentions an SD Worx export.
SuperHoreca runs the floor: online reservations, events with a run sheet and briefing, orders per supplier and a cash count — in one subscription. We do not file Dimona either: we export your hours to your social secretariat, which files the declaration.

Does Shiftbase support Belgian flexi-jobs and Dimona?
Their site does not say so (September 2026). Ask them directly before you choose. SuperHoreca does not file Dimona either; we export hours to your social secretariat.
Does SuperHoreca have an app?
Yes, an Android app. On iPhone SuperHoreca runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen. Shiftbase has apps for both iOS and Android.
Can I move my team over from Shiftbase?
Paste your current week from Shiftbase — or a photo of it — into "Import your current week" (part of the 30-day Ultra trial): names and shifts come across, and you check every line. No CSV needed. Historical schedules you leave behind. Cancel only once your first week runs in SuperHoreca.
